What serves you: Jealousy or Inspiration
Inspiration is one of the greatest catalysts for powerful change.
Go watch some “People are awesome videos” on YouTube and then set some bigger goals than you have now – and I don’t care who you are, what your “ailments” are, etc – it will serve all of us to have desire for physical/mental fortitude of some kind.
This crow pose took me a long time to get – many, many months in fact. But boy am I thanking myself today for starting way back then… …and It all started with I N S P I R A T I O N.
What are you feeding yourself that inspires you? (Reading, watching, hearing)
What are you believing about yourself, others and the way the world works that inspires you?
Who are you surrounding yourself with that inspire you? People who question your dreams or compliment them?
(No really – I’m serious. What are you feeding yourself, and are you surprised at the results you’re getting, or are they EXACTLY what you wanted?)
Are you choosing inspiration, or jealousy when you’re met with challenges or the greatness in others?
I choose inspiration because it, unlike jealousy, serves me. I celebrate the greatness in others as I celebrate the greatness in me.
Both inspiration and jealousy require effort and change, and sometimes pain. If I’m going to go through change, and maybe even a little pain, it WILL be for my betterment, and not my demise.
You’re either growing or dying – there’s no middle ground. Stop drifting around and start living – the investment in yourself is more worth it than you know.
Lord, thank you for giving all of us this incredible thing called life – may we give it our very best.
Blessings to you and yours,
Austin
