I run a marriage coaching ministry with my wife, an HR company, an AI HR product, a coaching practice, and a dirt work business. I also have a family I want to actually be present for. For years the bottleneck was not ideas or opportunity. It was me. Every email, every report, every website edit, every follow-up text had to go through my hands.
That changed when I started using Viktor. I have tried a lot of AI tools. Most of them are smart chat boxes: you ask, they answer, and then you still have to go do the work yourself. Viktor is different, and in this article I want to explain exactly how, in detail, so you can decide if it fits your business and your life.
What is Viktor?
Viktor is an AI employee. It lives inside Slack (and a web app), it connects to the tools your business already runs on, and you give it work the same way you would message a teammate. Then it goes and does that work, inside those tools, and reports back.
That last part is the whole point. When I ask ChatGPT to help with an email, I get a draft I have to copy, paste and send myself. When I ask Viktor, it reads the actual email thread in my inbox, writes the reply in my voice, and puts the draft right in Gmail for me to send. When I ask for a revenue report, it pulls the real numbers out of Stripe instead of asking me to paste them in.
Think of the difference between a consultant who gives you advice and an employee who takes the task off your plate. Viktor is built to be the second one.
How Viktor works
1. It works where your team already talks
You do not learn a new app. You @mention Viktor in a Slack channel or send it a direct message, in plain English. "Pull last month's Stripe revenue and compare it to September." "Draft replies to the comments on our latest YouTube video." "Update the about page on my website." Viktor answers in the same thread, so the whole team can see what it did.
2. It connects to your real tools
This is where the power comes from. Viktor connects to the software you already pay for, so it can read and act on real data instead of guessing. In my workspace it is connected to:
- Email and calendars: Gmail (several inboxes across my businesses) and Google Calendar
- Documents and files: Google Drive, Docs and Sheets
- Sales and money: Stripe
- CRM and marketing: GoHighLevel, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Business Profile
- Social and video: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Zoom
- Websites and code: GitHub, Netlify and Supabase
Once a tool is connected, you never think about it again. You just ask for the outcome.
3. It writes and runs its own code
Under the hood, Viktor has its own workspace where it writes and runs scripts. That sounds technical, but here is why it matters to a business owner: it is not limited to a fixed menu of features. If a task can be done with software, Viktor can usually figure out how to do it. Clean up a messy spreadsheet, build a PDF report, rebuild a website, process a folder of call recordings. It just does it.
4. It remembers how you like things done
Viktor keeps notes on your preferences, your team, your brand and the processes that work. Tell it once that you hate em dashes in your copy (I do), or that every action item needs a direct link, and it remembers next time. Over a few weeks it starts to feel less like a tool and more like someone who knows how you operate.
5. It works on a schedule, even while you sleep
Any task you would do every day, every week or every month can become a scheduled task. Viktor wakes up at the time you set, does the work, and posts the result in Slack or sends you an email. This is where the hours really come back.
6. It asks before it acts on your behalf
For anything that sends a message, changes a setting, or touches money, Viktor drafts the action and shows you an Approve button first. You stay in control. Once you trust it on a specific task, you can tell it to just handle that one going forward.
How I actually use Viktor in my businesses
Here is the honest list of real work Viktor does for me. No hypotheticals.
Customer care for our coaching program
Members of The Conscious Christian Marriage used to text my wife's personal cell with questions. Now they text a dedicated care line. Viktor answers routine questions in our voice, escalates anything sensitive to a real person on our team, and logs every conversation to a tracking sheet. Getting my wife off the business workload was my number one priority, and this is a big part of how we are doing it.
Call recordings turned into a training library
We host several live coaching calls every week. Viktor picks up each Zoom recording, uploads the video to our video host, writes a summary, logs it in a spreadsheet, and publishes it as a lesson in our members' app. That used to be hours of manual work every week. Now it just happens.
Automatic reminder texts
Every week, Viktor sends reminder texts for our upcoming calls to husbands, wives and couples through our CRM. It emails us a preview first, and if we want a change, we reply in one Slack thread and it updates the message.
Websites, rebuilt and maintained
Viktor rebuilt this website, our ministry website and my dirt work company's website, moving them off an expensive website builder onto fast, modern hosting I fully own. When I want a change, I just ask in Slack and it is live a few minutes later. It even wrote and optimized the article you are reading, based on how I actually use it.
A custom app to replace expensive software
We were paying $350 a month for a community platform. Viktor is building our own replacement, connected to our database and video library, that we own outright.
Revenue reports and bill reminders
Every Friday I get an email summarizing the week's revenue from Stripe, plus month to date and year to date. Viktor also reminds me about the bills I still pay manually so nothing slips.
Comments, reviews and social media
Viktor replies to comments on our Facebook page and YouTube channel in our ministry's voice, hides the inappropriate ones, responds to our Google reviews, and helps create and post social content.
Content for Google and AI search
Viktor writes articles designed to help both Google and AI search engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity find and recommend us. It even launched a couple of faceless YouTube Shorts channels for me, from writing and fact checking the questions to rendering the videos.
A live dashboard of the numbers that matter
Viktor built me a private dashboard that pulls together the key numbers from my businesses in one place, refreshed automatically. No more logging into six tools to see how we are doing.
Why Viktor is so powerful for a business
- It does the work, not just the thinking. The gap between knowing what to do and getting it done is where most small businesses stall. Viktor closes that gap.
- It replaces software, not just time. Because it can build things, it can replace some of the monthly subscriptions you pay for today with tools you own.
- It costs a fraction of a hire. A part time assistant, a web developer, a social media manager and a data analyst would cost thousands a month. Viktor covers a lot of that ground for the cost of a software plan.
- It works across your whole stack. Most AI features are trapped inside one app. Viktor moves between your email, CRM, payments, files and website in a single task.
- It gets better the longer you use it. Every preference and process it learns makes the next task faster and more accurate.
- It never forgets the recurring stuff. Scheduled tasks run on time, every time, whether you remembered or not.
Viktor for your personal life
I started using Viktor for business, but it has quietly become part of how I run my life at home too. A few ways it can help outside of work:
- A morning briefing. One message that summarizes what actually needs your attention across your inboxes and texts, with links straight to each item.
- A weekly digest for your spouse. Viktor sends my wife a weekly summary so we are on the same page without another meeting.
- Bills and reminders. Due dates, renewals and follow-ups, handled before they become late fees.
- Research and big decisions. Comparing options, digging through reviews, pulling together the facts so you can decide faster.
- Side projects and hobbies. If you have ever had an idea you never had time to build, Viktor can be the one who builds it with you.
For me, the real win is not productivity for its own sake. It is getting home earlier and being present with my wife and kids instead of answering email at the dinner table.
Viktor vs. ChatGPT and other AI assistants
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are excellent at thinking, writing and answering questions. I still use them. But out of the box they mostly live in a chat window. You bring them information and you carry their output back to your tools.
Viktor is built around action. It is connected to your accounts, it lives where your team works, it runs on a schedule, and it remembers your business. If a chatbot is a brilliant advisor, Viktor is the employee who actually executes.
What Viktor costs
New workspaces get free credits to try Viktor (up to $100 worth, per Viktor's pricing page). After that, plans are priced per workspace, not per seat, and start at $50 a month for 20,000 credits, with larger plans as your usage grows. Everything Viktor does uses credits, and the amount depends on how big the task is.
My honest advice before you start
I would not be doing you any favors if I only told you the good parts. A few things I have learned:
- Watch your credit usage. Long, back and forth conversations and big builds use the most credits. Give clear instructions up front, and review your usage page now and then. I recently trimmed a few scheduled tasks I was not really using and it made a real difference.
- Start with one painful, repetitive task. Do not try to automate your whole company on day one. Pick the task you dread every week and hand that off first.
- Review its work at first. Like any new hire, it does better with feedback. Correct it once and it remembers.
- You still lead. Viktor is a force multiplier, not a replacement for your judgment, your relationships or your values.
Is your data safe?
This was a big question for me, since Viktor touches client information. Viktor has a SOC 2 Type I report, supports GDPR and CCPA privacy rights, and states that neither Viktor nor its AI model providers train general purpose models on customer data. You also choose exactly which tools to connect, and sensitive actions require your approval.
Who Viktor is for
- Small business owners who are the bottleneck in their own company
- Coaches, consultants and ministries running lean teams
- Agencies and service businesses juggling many clients and tools
- Busy professionals who want to win back time for family
If you already use Slack and a handful of common business tools, you can be up and running in an afternoon.
Try Viktor for yourself
